Learn more about our approach to Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, ASD and other learning differences.
What’s getting in the way of your fine brain?
When supporting people with dyslexia, we consider our neurodevelopmental program an essential component of success and independence in learning.
People labelled as dyslexic, dyspraxic, autistic or with ADHD often feel their ideas go unheard and underappreciated.
As the dyslexic-dyspraxic in the room I was a good problem solver. I always had a solution to offer. Unfortunately no one took my ideas seriously.
We have developed a unique approach to supporting learners with dyspraxia offering an opportunity for growth and transformation.
Our personalized programs aim to turn the struggles associated with dyspraxia into strengths, guiding students not just to cope, but to flourish.
People with dyslexia often have surprising strengths which may be masked by their difficulties with ‘simple’ things
Let’s look at some of the things that learners with dyslexia struggle with, and then at their special skills.
Why are they so slow, so messy, so disorganized? Why can’t they just get their stuff ready like other children?
Neurodiverse children with issues such as dyspraxia, dyslexia, ADHD, and autism often struggle to complete tasks on time. You’ll see this at school: perhaps they just take so much longer in class that they have to finish the task during break or take it home to finish it there.
While there are simply too many stories to list here, we’d like to share some of the transformations our students have gone through after working with Oxford Specialist Tutors.
